About The MVS IN BRIEF
Master’s Vessel Seminary, Osumenyi is located in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State. The Seminary was established by the Anglican Diocese of Amichi in 2011 to train, educate, and groom young boys in academics, wisdom and exceptional moral principles.
As the good upbringing of a child needs proper and closer monitoring, a full boarding school is the natural choice. The school is a complete boarding school with full boarding facilities. To the glory of God, on the 1st of October 2011, the Seminary was commissioned, with a total of 72 students, 15 tutorial and 10 non-tutorial staff dedicated to God.
There is no gain-saying the fact that apart from its magnetic attraction and residential friendly-environment, this masterpiece remains a veritable instrument of and indispensable catalyst for the academical, moral, social and physical development of the new generation boys. The vision of the founder and Proprietor, the Rt Rev’d E. O. Ikeakor to produce new generation boys with Godly virtue is effectively working out.
The Seminary runs six-year program. Three years of Junior Secondary and three years of Senior Secondary. Our method of teaching is child-centered. This is achieved through quality assurance indices and maintenance of discipline among staff and students. The production of all round developed students for the challenges of the 21st century and beyond remains our priority, and with the ownership mentality of our staff this is achieved.
Every student that passed through this Seminary is a light wherever he finds himself. The school provides broad based development of the students, and the effects are always felt by other schools in extra-curriculum activities such as sports and quiz competitions.
Over the years, the performance of our students has been so outstanding that they gain admission into various Universities of their choice on merit. Jesus is our sure Anchor.
